Weekend Gold

I started Weekend Gold because as a creative outlet to show how a real family works through and experiences life. 

I'm Andy - I am married to my beautiful wife and together we have three kids. It is a full life and schedule that includes a new puppy, a Cybertruck we waited 14 weeks for, and a family that has opinions about all of it.

I'm not a car reviewer. I'm not a finance guy. I'm a dad who takes big decisions seriously (while trying to have fun) and figured other people might want to see what that process actually looks like.

That's what this channel is - real decisions and experiences documented honestly. It may not be flashy, but it's real life and sometimes its nice to know we aren't alone in it.

Why "Weekend Gold"?

Because weekends are the point. The whole reason we work all week long, budget, plan, and stress over these decisions is to protect the time that actually matters. Saturday morning with the kids. A Sunday road trip. The slow stuff that stays with us for a lifetime.

The name is a reminder for me, and for anyone watching, that decisions are in service of something, not the other way around.
