I’m Andy, a husband, dad of three, and the person behind Weekend Gold.
Why I Started
Real decisions are messier than spec sheets.
I like researching a decision, but I care even more about what happens after the decision enters normal life. Does the vehicle work with three kids? Does the gear solve the problem after the novelty wears off? Was the expense actually worth it?
Weekend Gold is my place to leave that context in. The channel currently follows our Cybertruck ownership journey, but the larger subject is how a real family weighs money, time, creativity, health, utility, and the moments we are trying to protect.
I am not interested in pretending every purchase is perfect or every weekend becomes cinematic. I am interested in finding what genuinely helps, admitting what does not, and making the ordinary parts of life count.
